What Open Days are
If you are just embarking on your career in translation or interpreting, Open Days will provide the support you need as you take your first steps. We offer useful advice, such as how to prepare your CV and the process of setting up your professional business.
Experienced and respected colleagues volunteer their time to inform you on issues of concern and to answer any questions you may have.
Our goal is to continue holding Open Days so that we can offer assistance to both new translators and more experienced colleagues. We can all work together to shape better conditions on the translation market.
If you are just finishing or have already finished a university programme in translation or interpreting, you can register with PEM as an associate member.

Who can take part in Open Days
Open Days are open to everyone, whether they are PEM members or not.
Speakers include PEM members with considerable experience in the fields of translation and interpreting.
We also seek to bring you together with full members to help you develop professional and interpersonal relationships.
