The Panhellenic Association of Translators (PEM) is standing by its members and all language professionals during the COVID-19 crisis. We are continuing to update you on anything related to the coronavirus crisis and support you on any business-related issues.
How to stay safe
During these difficult times, your safety and the safety of your loved ones is above all else. We advise you to strictly follow the instructions issued by official agencies in Greece and abroad regarding the new coronavirus:

How we help you
Following the recent developments with the pandemic, we formed a COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre (CMC) and a special HelpDesk team. Our aim is to ensure the business continuity of the PEM office, the seamless operation of the Working Groups and the uninterrupted provision of services to our members.

When you are not working, you can spend your time productively with:
- Webinars – At PEM we are standing by you, offering the continuing professional development (CPD) webinars free of charge to all our members.
- Online courses – Attend online seminars on a wide range of topics and hone your skills, free or at a small cost.
- Workouts – Find the online fitness programme that is best suited to you, put on your gym clothes and you’re set!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, digital transformation is taking shape more rapidly than ever before. So we can now do almost everything online:

Stay up to date on the coronavirus
The spread of the coronavirus is continuing at a rapid pace. To stay on top of things:
- Find out how the pandemic is developing from one day to the next through official websites, such as Coronavirus Update (Live) by Worldometers and COVID-19 Map by Johns Hopkins University.
- Trust the official Greek government website on all the measures taken for the new coronavirus.
- Look up pandemic-related terms in the PEM Coronavirus Glossary.
